CF Analytics — Privacy Policy

What this extension does

CF Analytics is a browser extension that displays Cloudflare Web Analytics data for websites you own, directly in your browser toolbar. It can optionally connect to Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console to show search performance data alongside your traffic data.

Data we collect

We collect nothing. The extension stores only credentials you explicitly enter in the Settings page:

• Cloudflare API Token and Account ID
• Bing Webmaster API Key (optional)
• Google Search Console OAuth credentials — refresh token, client ID, client secret (optional)

All credentials are stored locally in Chrome's chrome.storage.local on your own device. They are never transmitted to any server we operate.

API requests made by the extension

When you open the extension popup, it makes requests directly from your browser to:

• api.cloudflare.com — to fetch your Cloudflare Analytics data using your token
• ssl.bing.com — to fetch Bing Webmaster query data (only if you configured a Bing API key)
• searchconsole.googleapis.com and oauth2.googleapis.com — to fetch Google Search Console data (only if you configured GSC credentials)

These requests go directly from your browser to those services. No data passes through any intermediary server.

Data sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit your credentials or analytics data to any third party. The extension has no backend server.

Permissions explained

• storage — to save your credentials locally
• activeTab / tabs — to read the current tab's URL so the extension can show analytics for that specific page
